booqoo Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This policy explains how booqoo LLC ("booqoo", "we") collects, uses and shares personal information across all booqoo apps and websites (the "Services"), and the choices you have. Each app's addendum, listed under App terms on our Legal page, lists data specific to that app. If an addendum conflicts with the booqoo Terms or Privacy Policy, the addendum applies to that app.
1. Our role. For data about our own business users (the people and companies who sign up for booqoo), we are the controller. For data a business user holds about its own customers, guests or audience, the business user is the controller and booqoo is its processor, acting on its instructions. If you are a customer of a business using booqoo, contact that business first about your data.
2. What we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account and identity | Name, username, email, user and company IDs from Whop, Discord or Google, profile image | You, the platform you signed in with |

| Customer data you or your customers enter | Names, emails, bookings, answers to forms, messages, attendance | You, your customers |
| Payments | Payment status, amount, refund status, transaction IDs. Not card numbers | Payment processor (for example Whop) |
| Communications | Support messages, notifications, emails we send and whether they were delivered and, for marketing emails sent with Sendoo, whether they were opened or links were clicked | You, us |
| Audio, video and recordings | Live call media; recordings only if the host turns recording on | You |
| Connected accounts | Calendar events, meeting links, Discord IDs and OAuth tokens (stored encrypted) for the integrations you turn on | Google, Zoom, Discord |
| AI inputs and outputs | Prompts and context you send to an AI feature and its replies | You |
| Usage and device | IP address, browser, device, pages and features used, timestamps, error logs | Your device, cookies |
3. How we use it
- Provide, maintain and secure the Services, and do what you ask (book, pay, remind, connect, message).
- Process payments and refunds through the platform you used.
- Send service emails and notices. We send marketing only if you opt in, and you can opt out any time.
- Give business users reports about their own business.
- Power AI features, and improve and debug the Services. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI provider (OpenAI) does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
- Detect fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, comply with law, and handle disputes.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), consent (marketing, optional recording, cookies where required) and legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
- Business users: if you book or buy from one, they see the information you give for it.
- Service providers who process data for us: hosting, databases and file storage, email delivery, live video, AI, and the platforms you connect, such as Whop, Discord, Google and Zoom. The current list, with what each one does, is on our Subprocessors page.
- Legal and safety: authorities, courts or others when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
- Business transfers: a buyer or partner in a merger, financing or sale, who must honor this policy.
- With your consent or on your instruction.
We do not sell personal information. booqoo.com uses Whop's pixel to measure our ads, which some state laws may treat as "sharing"; you can opt out as described on Your Privacy Choices.
5. How long we keep it
We keep data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. When you close your account or remove an app, you can ask us to delete your data by emailing support@booqoo.com, and we delete or anonymize it within 30 days of your request, except what we must keep: financial and tax records for 7 years, booking and payment records for the period stated in the Calloo terms, suppression lists kept so opted-out people are not contacted again, records needed for disputes or fraud prevention, and backups that roll off within 35 days. Call recordings are deleted after 30 days, or sooner if the host deletes them. Logs are kept about 90 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, to not be discriminated against for using your rights, and to complain to your data-protection authority. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA. Email support@booqoo.com. We respond within 30 days, or 45 days where a state law allows that time. We may need to verify who you are. If your data is held by a business user, we will pass your request on to them.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, encryption of stored third-party tokens, access controls checked on every request, signed links for guests, separation of business data, and logging. No system is fully secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. International transfers
We and our providers process data in the United States, Singapore and India (see our Subprocessors page for which app uses which), and may process it in other countries that may not have the same data laws as yours. Where required we use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum.
9. Children
The Services are not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and local storage to sign you in and keep the Services working. Our apps do not use analytics or advertising tools. booqoo.com and Calloo hosts' booking pages use Whop's pixel, which measures visits and which ads brought people to the page. It sets cookies (named _wuid and _wuid_link), stores similar identifiers in your browser, and may use information about your device to recognize your browser. See the Cookie Policy. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across other sites, so browser Do Not Track signals do not change anything. Whop's pixel on booqoo.com and on Calloo hosts' booking pages is run by Whop under its own privacy policy. booqoo.com honors Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends the signal, we do not load Whop's pixel.
12. Changes
We will post updates here and give notice of material changes by email or in the app.
