Messaging and Notifications Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Applies to every booqoo app that sends email, Whop or Discord messages, or in-app notifications (today Sendoo, Ticketoo, Calloo, Crewoo and Signoo).
- Business users are the sender. You decide who to message, and you are responsible for having permission. booqoo delivers the messages for you.
- Consent. Marketing messages need the recipient's prior consent as the law requires (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR/PECR). Keep a record of when and how each person opted in.
- Required content. Every marketing email needs your real business name, a valid postal address and a working unsubscribe link, honored within 10 days.
- No prohibited sending. No purchased or scraped lists, no misleading headers, and no sending to minors' data you should not hold.
- Transactional messages (receipts, booking confirmations, security notices, ticket updates, signature requests) are allowed without marketing consent but must not contain promotions.
- Opt-out. We suppress addresses that opt out, bounce or complain. Do not try to re-add them.
- Limits and enforcement. We set sending limits, monitor complaint and bounce rates, and may pause sending or suspend an account that causes high complaints or blocklisting.
- Platform messages. Discord, Whop and email providers have their own rules. You must follow them, and they may block messages we cannot override.
If we add text messaging, we will add its rules here before it launches.
