Crewoo (team chat, calendar, voice lounge and boo)
Last updated: October 14, 2026
- Workspace owner. The business that creates a workspace controls its members, channels, retention and exports, and is the controller of messages and files. Members should read the workspace's own rules.
- Admin visibility. Workspace admins may be able to see channel content and activity. Direct messages are private: only the people in the conversation can see them, not workspace admins.
- Calls and voice channels. Voice, video and screen sharing are sent live through LiveKit. Crewoo does not record calls.
- boo, the AI assistant. boo answers questions using the workspace data it is allowed to read. For other booqoo apps it can ask read-only questions about a business's data; it cannot see customer names, emails, meeting links or booking answers. boo can be wrong, so check important answers. Admins can turn boo off or limit what it reads. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI provider (OpenAI) does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
- Calendar. Crewoo's calendar lives inside the workspace and does not connect to outside calendars.
- GIFs and link previews. GIF searches go to our GIF provider (Klipy). When someone posts a link, Crewoo fetches that page to show a preview.
- Where data is stored. Crewoo's database and files are hosted in Singapore.
- Leaving. Members who leave lose access; their past messages stay in the workspace unless an admin removes them.
