Alertoo (live and new-post alerts)
Last updated: October 14, 2026
- What it does. Alertoo watches the YouTube channels, Twitch and Kick streams, X accounts and RSS feeds a business chooses, and when something new is posted or a stream goes live, it posts the business's announcement to its Whop forum or a Discord channel. Alertoo does not send text messages, emails or push notifications to anyone.
- What you post. The business writes or approves the announcement and is responsible for it, including any links, and for following Whop's and Discord's rules. On paid plans an announcement can be posted under a team member's name; only do this with that person's permission.
- Sources you track. Only track channels and accounts you are allowed to promote. Alertoo reads public posts and stream status through each platform's official API or public feed, so alerts depend on those services' terms and uptime and can be delayed or missed. Do not rely on Alertoo for anything time-critical.
- Discord. The Alertoo bot posts only in the server and channels where it is installed, with the permissions granted there.
- Data. The channels and accounts you track, where alerts go (Whop forum or Discord channel and server IDs), your announcement settings, and a history of what was posted. They are deleted when you remove a tracker or disconnect a server.
